    Number of active Yammer user accounts for a specified timeframe.

  • Activity (Column)
    A descpription of the activity that took place. This includes everything from users being added to a group, checking files in/out, sharing policy/invitation changes and more.
  • Activity - File
    All drive activities where the object was a file. Total Activities where 'Activity Type' [Object Type] = File
  • Activity - File Sync
    All file activities where the activity was from automatic syncronization.
  • Activity Type
    A grouping of activity types into three main categories: Sharing, System, and Usage. This can be used to quickly filter down activity types or can be added to a visualizations 'legend' to make the grouping clear and colour coded.
  • AddedToGroup
    User added a member or guest to a SharePoint group. This might have been an intentional action or the result of another activity, such as a sharing event. For details check out this Microsoft article(...)
  • AddedToSecureLink
    A user was added to the list of entities who can use a secure sharing link.
  • Administered Groups
    The total groups that a user is a Group Administrator of in Yammer. This is great for counting groups that are administrated by each user, and flagging users who are group admins. This visual can be found on the Group Activity page of most Yammer reports.
  • All Activity (Pulse)
    All Activity = [Email - User Activities] + [Teams - All Messages] + [SharePoint - User Activities] + [OneDrive - User Activities] + [Skype - Sessions] + [Yammer - User Activity]
  • All Files
    Total files for the selected site or site collection.
  • All Guest Users

  • Consumption Score

  • Content Type
    The category of a given file. Example: application, video, image etc. An example of the difference between the content type and file type is, an application that is uploaded as a .txt file. Content type would designate it as an application but the file type remains a document.
  • Contribution Points (Teams)
    This is a subscore (component of the Influencer Score) that weights a users contribution by assigning weighting to conversational actions. Threads = 2 Points, Messages = 1 Point, Likes = 0.5 Points. Contribution Score = (Threads* 2)+ (Messages)+ (Likes* 0.5)
  • Contribution Points (Yammer Influencer Score)
    A weighted total of points given to a user for contributing content in conversations. Where Announcements are worth3 Points,Threads Initiated 2 Points, Replies, Praises, and Shares are worth 1 Point, and Likes are worth 0.5 points.
  • Contribution Score
    Sum of concerted actions made by a user in Yammer. The total of this value is used for the contribution component of the Lurker ratio.   • Cross Filtering
    The ability to filter all of the visuals on a Power BI page by selecting a datapoint on a neighboring visual.   • Domain
    The domain from the user's email address, typically the company website.
  • DownloadedReport
    Analyst downloaded a query result file.
  • Drives
    Total drives in the tenant or selection. This measure can be seen on the OneDrive Overview page where it is used as the baseline of the Engaged Drives guage.
  • DTS - Email
    The total days that a user has sent or recieved email multiplied by one.
  • DTS - OneDrive
    Total days that a user has had one drive activity multiplied by three.
  • DTS - SharePoint
    The total daysthat eachuser has taken an action in SharePoint multiplied by three. The SharePoint activities considered in this measure is File Views/Edits, Files Shared Externally, Files Shared Internally, Files Synced, Pages Visited.
  • DTS - Skype
    The total days that each user has taken an action in Skype multiplie by three (see DTS weighting image for overview). ASkype activity is defined as when Total Sessions is >0. See the 'Skype Sessions Table' in Power BI for details.

    Email address of the given user
  • Email - % Active Users
    [Email - Active Users] / [Users - AllActive. Where "Email - Active Users" is all users who have sent or received an email for the report period, and "Users - Active Users" are any user with Office 365 activity for the report period and an Active Directory login.
  • Email - Active Users
    A distinct count of users who have had any Email Activity for the report period as defined by the "Email - User Activities" calculation. Essentially the total unique users who have sent or recieved email for the report period.
  • Email Address
    Email of the user in the custom member list. Often used as an ID.
  • Email - All Items
    The total "items" in mailboxes based on the most recent record for each user in the filtered set.
  • Email - All Traffic
    Calculation = 'Email Activity'[Received]+ 'Email Activity'[Sent]. This is used to measure the total amount of email traffic by user or work group.     Total devices utilzed by users given the most recent record for each user.
  • Email - Mailboxes
    Total users/mailboxes with Mailbox usage for the report period.
  • Email - Most Recent Mailbox Activity Date

  • Email - Read/Received Ratio
    Calculation ='Email Activity'[Reads] / 'Email Activity'[Received].     Number of user interactions between two members. Used with Member Name from Users table in combination with Interacted With Member from User Interactions table. This is Date, Group, and Thread sliceable.
  • User Likes
    Number of likes made by a user. Often pivoted on member name to show the number of likes that member has made on a message(s).
  • User Mentions

  • User Messages
    Number of messages posted by a user.
  • User Praises
    Number of times a member or members have been praised.
  • UserID
    Unique numeric value assigned by Yammer for each user in the network.
  • Users - All Active
    Is a baseline score used as the denominator for most percentages in pulse that involve users. This is the a count of all users with an active directory account, O365 license, and are not suspended or deleted.
  • Users Interacted
    The distinct number of people a user has interacted with.
  • Users Liked
    The total unique members that liked a messages.  This is subject to the filters that you have applied. So if you have selected a thread it will count likes from the responses as well. If you'd like to just count response likes you can filter using the Message table attribute:(...)
  • Users Mentioned
    Number of unique members that have been mentioned.
  • Users Praised
    Number of unique members that have been praised.
  • UserSuspension
    User account is suspended (deactivated).
  • ViewedExplore
    Analyst viewed visualizations in one or more Explore page tabs.
  • Visual Interactions Button
    An option in PowerBI to change the way that cross filtering works between visualizations on the same report tab.
  • WasPrivate
    A binary value indicating a message that had previously been private but has since been moved to a group.
  • Web Template
    The name of the template used to create the site
  • Web URL
    A web link to the Yammer site for the given network.
  • WebRequestAccessModified
    The access request settings were modified on a site.
  • Week Of
    A date range for selecting a week of the year. This weekly filter starts each week on a Sunday - Saturday calendar. For example the week of 1 Jul 2018 is Sunday 1 July 2018 - Saturday 7 July 2018
  • WOL Score (Working Out Loud)
    Teams messages formulated by the ratio of teams chat to total teams messages of a user. WOL Score = ([Teams Chat Messages]/[Total Teams Messages])*[Total Teams Messages]
  • Working Out Loud Gauge
    This is a total of all public groups that currently exist in your Yammer Network. The baseline for the guage is the total number of Yammer Groups in your network.
  • Yammer - % Active Users
    Calculation = [Yammer - Active Users] / [Users - All Active]. Where[Yammer - Active Users] are any user who has Liked, Read, or Posted for the report period.
  • Yammer - Active Users
    A distinct count of users who have Liked, Read, or Posted material in Yammer for the report period.
  • Yammer - Avg Daily Activity
    The average number of Yammer activities across all tyGraph Pulse (Yammer) activity types. ie. Likes, Reads, and Posts.
  • Yammer - Devices
    The total devices being used to access Yammer.
  • Yammer - Likes
    Total likes made byuser(s) in Yammer.
  • Yammer - Most Recent Activity Date
    The most recent datpoint in the Yammer activity table.
  • Yammer - Posts
    A total of all messages posted by a user in Yammer. This includes Threads, and replies.
  • Yammer - Reads
    The total threads rendered on a users screen, sometimes referred to a "scroll pasts"
  • Year
    Year value of the given date.
